One less Lonely hey
Together with Tinder, we tapped into a very real Gen Z dating tension: the pressure to send the perfect opener, and the exhaustion of receiving yet another throwaway “hey.” Call it heynxiety. Call it a heyngover. Either way, it provides a clear cultural truth to build from: dating app users needed a better place to start from. Enter Tinder’s Astrology Mode – with built-in conversation starters designed to make the first move feel easier and more personal.
Social-first & Star-Powered
The creative turned that tension into a fast, funny, social-first campaign built around instantly recognizable dating moments. Across four high-speed vignettes, Astrology Mode became the spark – where cosmic compatibility helps singles move past awkward openers into conversations with more personality, play, and plot. Clean art direction, warm atmospheric lighting, and tight scripting gave each spot polish, while a loose, platform-native pace made it feel right at home on the FYP.

Creator-led Cosmic Chemistry
To extend the story beyond the brand spots, Tinder and the AntiSocial team tapped eight standout Canadian creators – familiar faces across platforms – to show how Astrology Mode could level up their dating game. From match-scroll reveals to comedic skits about cosmic dating chaos, the content made the feature feel innovative, entertaining, and worth trying – earning 770,793 organic impressions from an engaged audience.
